Malachi Rucker's journey began with a simple yet profound goal: to create clothing that caters to the sensory needs of neurodiverse individuals. Diagnosed with autism at a young age, Malachi understands firsthand the challenges that neurodiverse individuals face. From the tender age of 3, Malachi confronted the challenges of sensory sensitivity, navigating a world where even the simplest of clothing choices could provoke discomfort.
Yet, it was not just the fabric against his skin; it was the unkind words and stares that threatened to chip away at his confidence. His personal experiences fueled his passion for advocacy and his desire to make a positive impact through Divergent Clothing Co.
